Gilbert offers personal fitting to determine what is the correct size for your finger. Big knuckles, long and slender, no matter what needs your finger requires, Gilbert can size your gold or platinum jewelry correctly. He is Tidewater’s expert in interior banding and balls to ensure your ring does not spin on your finger. No size is too big or too small and Gilbert will not thin your ring and waste precious gold or platinum.

Our fully certified repair shop specializes in rhodium and platinum plating of your jewelry, to brighten or change the color from yellow to white. We can also plate in 24kt yellow gold to enhance that special look

Watch Repair
Gilbert has a national reputation as a complete overhaul specialist who is precise and backed. He has worked for some of the finest watch companies in the world and graduated from courses given by them, including Rolex. Gilbert is completely independent and is not affiliated with any watch company. This allows him the freedom to overhaul and repair all fine watches.
Services include:
- Battery/Replacement
Quartz watches operate by means of a battery, and they usually do not require service to the movement until the battery voltage is depleted. Gilbert will replace your watch’s battery and electronically test the movement for battery consumption.
- Calibrate/Regulate Movement
When the movement is physically adjusted faster or slower to brand recommended specifications.
- Clean/Polish Bracelet as Requested
Removable links are separated and refinished individually. Non-removable links of different materials or finishes are masked and polished, or satin finished, in separate steps.
- Complete Overhaul
A complete overhaul includes the disassembly of the watch case, bracelet, and movement. The case and bracelet are ultrasonically cleaned, polished, and refinished. The process removes scuff marks, scratches and dents, giving your watch, a brand new look. The movement components are inspected for wear, and all worn or rusted stationary or movement parts are replaced with genuine replacement parts. The movement is ultrasonically cleaned, and then reassembled using recommend lubricants. Proper lubrication is Gilbert Calle’s specialty, which he achieved through years of practice and dedication. The movement is electronically calibrated and placed into the case. The completed watch is pressure tested in both wet and dry conditions. The watch is then subjected to a time test to assure accuracy before delivery.
- Dial Refinishing
Making your worn dial look new will add life, beauty and wear-ability to a classic vintage watch. We specialize in replicating the design of the original dial. Then the raised markers are removed and replaced or replated if necessary. The dial is personally inspected by artisans who Mr. Calle has worked with for many years.
